research highlights

Quality of Life among Asian American Breast Cancer Survivors

We are starting a pilot study on quality of life among Asian American breast cancer survivors. Preliminary findings from a in-depth interviews have suggested the needs to develop a culturally appropriate program for these women.

Asian Liver Cancer Education Program in Maryland

An NCI-funded randomized community trial that delievered culturally appropriate intervention programs to Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese communities in Maryland. Educational materials are free to download.

Asian American Health Priorities

A health needs assessment in 13 Asian American communities in Montgemory County, Maryland in 2007. Combined reports and individual community reports are available.
